In addition to generous personal and business donations, Thunderbird Clubhouse depends on a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) to remain in business. This year our contract with ODMHSAS is up for review. Due to the turbulent nature of nonprofit funding in general (but especially in recent years) we want to present our biggest asset—our members’ stories—to those considering the renewal of our contract. Nonprofits that don’t specifically serve veterans or women & children are most at risk.

Now more than ever, we need your stories. Every word goes towards ensuring Thunderbird Clubhouse keeps serving those living with and recovering from serious mental illness for years to come.
