“Clubhouse is one of those places that every new person doesn’t really understand why they are there or what they have to contribute. It takes a while to fully understand the Clubhouse Model. I started off as a student while I was pursuing my Master’s degree. It was quite interesting, and I truly learned a lot from members. I enjoy getting to know members for who they are. So many of the members have so much to offer, both in terms of personality and skills. Throughout my almost 7 years at Clubhouse, I have learned that every person has a story and a reason why they do the things that they do. It is not my job to judge members but to fully accept them and aid them in growth and recovery. I also enjoy the socials that we have because I get to see the competitive and playful side of everyone.”
Her non work hours are spent with family and close friends. When she can make the time, Leetta enjoys writing poetry and reading books like The Divergent Series. She also enjoys exploring the world through Geocaching.
