Amber Miller

joined the Clubhouse community as an intern in 2020.  She received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma in May of 2020 and a Masters of Social Work in August 2021. During her bachelors work she served an internship at Homeless Alliance of OKC. Before starting full-time at Clubhouse she worked in electronics retail for 5 years doing everything from selling phones to working on computers.

“I love working at Thunderbird Clubhouse because of the empowerment I see in members every day. Mental illness often strips people of their identities and Clubhouse has a unique ability to bring it back and build up individuals even more. Being able to help foster a culture that’s also open and accepting of all people from the moment they walk in the doors is the best feeling to me.”

She loves to read books, watch anime, and play dungeons and dragons with friends. You might have a tough time finding her around Clubhouse as she likes to shake up my hair color a lot!
